privately owned suites at Port Douglas’s iconic club tropical resort, we saw an opportunity to blend the resort’s original 80’s hedonistic tiki design with the sleek and utopian aesthetic of tropical minimalism.
These privately owned guest suites are a study of escapism and sensuality that create depth and proportion through the seductive curves that feature throughout the space.
A king bed sits on a mammoth white tiled and rendered plinth, an altar to pleasure and rest, that melts into terracotta tiles.
